Thanksgiving in the Valley

I am still quite behind on updating this blog!  The holidays kept me super busy and I am still trying to catch up on LOTS of things!  This year, we spent Thanksgiving at Grandma and Grandpa's house in Sebastian.  The kids really enjoyed playing outside, riding Sally the horse, and eating all of Grandma's cooking.  The weather was great and it was such a treat to spend Thanksgiving with la familia!

Sienna and Emma sittin on the porch.
Kind of looks like they were doing the bunny hop.
But, then they all fell down like ring around the rosie!

Sienna loves to ride Sally.  Colton wasn't quite ready!

Thanksgiving Performance

The moment we had all been waiting for.......Sienna and Colton's first preschool performance!  Of course, there was a bunch of ooohhhing and ahhhinng as parents and grandparents looked on through their digital cameras, video cameras, and I-phones.  Don't you just love technology!  Anyway, all of the children did an amazing job.  Sienna sang her little heart out, while Colton stood there with his hands in his pockets!  So cute!  After the performance, we headed inside for a wonderful Thanksgiving Feast!  What an amazing treat!
What a good looking group of kids!

So proud of my little performers!
Now it is time to Feast!  Yummy!
After lunch and dessert, Colton and Sienna get silly!

Mr. Bear

Sienna loves her new school and is learning so much!  One activity she was super excited about was getting to bring Mr. Bear home for a visit!  All of the kids in Sienna's class got to take turns bringing Mr. Bear home.  They were supposed to take care of him, be responsible, and of course, play with him!  They were then told to fill in a journal page for the class detailing some of their favorite adventures together!  Sienna took this VERY SERIOUSLY!  She was the best Mommy to Mr. Bear and he remained by her side the entire 4 days while at the Taylor household!

Our Little Angels

I love photography and am always trying to improve my photo taking skills.  Therefore, I decided to take the kids to a nearby outdoor trail so that I could attempt to take some nice fall photos of them.  I told them that Mommy was going to pretend to be a real photographer, so they needed to do their best to be professional models!  Ha ha, just kidding!  I just followed them around and took as many pictures as possible!  I figured that some of them had to come out good, right?  All in all, I was very happy with how they came out!  I even created a cool slide show on Kodak Gallery, which I have uploaded for your viewing pleasure!  Now, if I could just figure out how to photo shop Bart and I into some of the pictures!

And, here are some of my favorites!

Petting Zoo Birthday Party

It looks like petting zoo's are all the rage these days!  There is just something about putting a bunch of kids in an enclosed pen with farm animals that really seems to bring on good times!  Sienna and Colton were so happy to be able to make it to Connor and Josie's birthday party this year!  They had an absolute blast!

Sienna immediately grabbed this cute bunny!
Maybe they won't notice if I sneak off with it!
This is so much fun!

What do we do next?
Connor, the birthday boy!
Sienna did not want to let go of this bunny!
But, she does look pretty cute with it!
Colton decides to give it a try.
So cute!
Yey, I did it!
